Missouri

Missouri was my first time in the Midwest, and once again I went with my girlfriend, this time to visit her family for Thanksgiving. I mostly spent the trip documenting the area, her grandma's house where they all stay, and the countryside around it, since they live in a small town just outside of Springfield. This one kind of hit home for me. I really loved this area, it reminded me of the idealistic sort of place I could see myself living, tucked away from everything with its own little rhythm and culture. Everyone I met was genuinely nice, and spending time with her family was a lot of fun. We were there a good while, maybe five days, and I would love to go back.
