Colorado

Colorado was a quick one, only two full days, two nights, but it landed right at the start of the snowboarding and skiing season. My girlfriend has a friend who works at Arapahoe Basin, so we headed out to visit her and to get me on a board for the very first time. My girlfriend had been a few times before, but this was all new to me. Short as the trip was, it was cool to meet some of her college friends and to finally get out west. This was my first time anywhere west of Tennessee, really, so seeing this part of the country, especially near the peak of winter was truly something else. We also squeezed in some hikes on our last day and spent a lot of good time together. I shot most of these on Cinestill 800T, which gave everything this deep blue look that I love. I didn't take a ton of photos, but I did put together a YouTube video from it, since I was trying to start a channel back then. All in all, this was a really new experience for me, and definitely different from a lot of my other photography.
